Access Control System, Welwyn Garden City

We recently completed work on a modern installation in Welwyn Garden City which included a state of the art door entry system and a carpark barrier with access control.

The building was a large government office block requiring the most up to date systems on the market to deal with large staff and visitor numbers and sensitive data. We installed a carpark barrier system with access control and door entry on the barriers. The state of the art Paxton video door entry system was used to link the carpark to reception for visitors.

Paxton are a Brighton based firm with core values of simplicity, quality and honesty, and that’s why we use them. Their Net2 Range is perfect for the building’s requirements, featuring an intuitive colour touch screen monitor, with the option for handsfree or handset use and video voicemail. The vandal resistant entry panels come with standard button or touch screen options, can tilt or pan the camera angle for optimal functionality, and comes in flush, surface mount or rain hood options.

Controlling all this is the Net2 Entry Control Panel, with 4 PoE ports for easy expansion of the system, a 2A 12V DC power supply, battery backup, an anti-tamper switch, and it is the central interface between the panel and the door system. Visitors can be clearly seen by reception and staff have keyfob access or codes to allow entry.
